Large Blue Gradient Bowl with handles - 15" x 13" x 5"

This handmade bowl is made from an iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware bowl was thrown on my potters wheel, handles added, bisque fired, then sprayed with a blue stain. On inside of the bowl, in addition to the blue stain, I added a light blue stain gradation. I used stain on this bowl as to not cover up the texure that I added as a design element. A matte clear glaze was added to the whole piece for a little shimmer. A one-of-a-kind pottery bowl that will be a pleasure to use for years to come. All handcrafted pieces are wheel thrown, trimmed, signed, glazed or stained, and fired to cone 6 by me! Each piece will be unique. It is food, oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. Enjoy!
