Large Matte Gray Green Gradient Undulating Vessel - 16" x 14" x 6"

This unique vessel is made from a iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vessel was thrown on the potters wheel, altered/sculped, bisque fired, then sprayed with a matte black to green gradient stain. Stain, as apposed to glaze, will allow the texture of the clay show through. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. This piece could be used as a large vase or placed in your home simply as an object of art.
