Large Red and Black Sculpted Bowl with texture - 14" x 14" x 5"

This handmade bowl is made from an iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware bowl was thrown on my potters wheel, bisque fired, then sprayed with a black stain, on the outside. On inside of the bowl I sprayed a red glaze, with a little on the outside rim, creating a nice gradation. A one-of-a-kind pottery bowl that will be a pleasure to use for years to come. All handcrafted pieces are wheel thrown, sculpted, trimmed, signed, glazed or stained, and fired to cone 6 by me! Each piece will be unique. It is food, oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. Enjoy!
