Slim Blue Twisted Vase - 4" x 4" x 12"
This beautiful handmade vase is made from iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vase was thrown on my potters wheel, altered to its existing shape, texture added, bisque fired, then sprayed with a rich blue stain on the exterior. Stain, as opposed to glaze, was used in order to allow the intentional texture to show through. A rich blue glaze was used on the interior. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. All of my pieces are food, oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. Enjoy!
