Tall Black and Grey Undulating Vessel - 9" x 8.5" x 15"

This unique vessel is made from a iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vessel was thrown on the potters wheel, altered/sculped, bisque fired, then sprayed with a matte black stain. Stain, as apposed to glaze, allows the texture of the clay show through. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. This piece could be used as a large vase or placed in your home simply as an object of art.
