Tall Blue and Green Sculpted Vessel - 7.5" x 7.5" x 15.5"

This unique vessel is made from a iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vessel was thrown on the potters wheel, altered, bisque fired, then sprayed with a blue stain, letting the texture of the clay show through. A green glaze was applied on the interior. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. This piece could be used as a large vase or placed in your home simply as an object of art.
