Tall Blue Gradient Vessel number 2 - 15"x 7" x 5"

This unique vessel is made from a iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vessel was thrown on the potters wheel, altered, bisque fired, then sprayed with a dark and light blue stain letting the texture of the clay show through. A dark blue glaze was applied on the inside. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. This piece could be used as a large vase or placed in your home simply as an object of art.
