Tall Brown and Yellow Vessel - 9" x 9" x 16"

This unique handmade vessel is made from a iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vessel was made by a combination of a thrown bowl and slabs of clay, bisque fired, then painted with red iron oxide on the exterior and a yellow wash inside and down the middle of the exterior. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. This piece could be used as a large vase or placed in your home simply as an object of art.
