Tall Brown and Tan Vessel - 10" x 8" x 15"

This unique handmade vessel is made from a iron red earthenware clay. The stoneware vessel was made by a combination of a thrown bowl and slabs of clay, bisque fired, then painted with red iron oxide and a yellow wash. Interior was glazed with a brown glaze. It is oxidation fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. This piece could be used as a large vase or placed in your home simply as an object of art.
